On 29th October, the Seminar on Populism and Religion took place at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zaragoza, delivered by Dr. Fernando Arlettaz, a professor at the University of Zaragoza. The seminar focused on the complex historical interactions between political ideologies and religious beliefs, as well as their influence on contemporary society, using practical examples.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, an online presentation took place on women, religion and human rights, given by Prof. Dr. Ana Vega. She analysed the challenges that arise in practice when gender and religious discrimination occur, also examining women's rights and feminism from a historical perspective.<\/p>\n

This was the last of the events held within the framework of the activity Religion and Public Space: I Conference on the dissemination of novelties in legal regulation (Link to the first day<\/a>,\u00a0 Link to the second day<\/a>which has allowed the dissemination and spread to society of novelties in the legal regulation of the religious phenomenon.<\/p>\n
