On 20 April, the University of Zaragoza's Laboratory of Freedom of Belief and Diversity Management held its IV Conference. The event, inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Mr Javier López Sánchez, was attended by the Deputy Director General for Relations with Religious Institutions of the Ministry of Justice, Mr Jaime Rossell, who explained the current challenges facing public administration in this area. Following this, the Chief Prosecutor of Zaragoza, Mr Felipe Zazurca, gave a lecture on religious hate speech offences. In the afternoon sessions, members of the Government of Aragon (Mr Julio Embid) and the City Council of Zaragoza (Mr Ignacio Celaya) spoke, presenting the perspectives of the regional and local administrations, respectively, on the management of religious diversity. The session concluded with a round table discussion involving representatives of various religious minorities in Aragon, followed by an intense and interesting Q&A session.
